CCI Training Center’s Medical Assistant program in Dallas and Arlington provides you with the knowledge you need to undertake the NHA’s Clinical Medical Assistant Certification exam by providing practical and theoretical training in:
- Collecting specimens
- Performing basic lab tests
- Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure and EKGs
- Changing dressings
- Giving immunizations
- Taking blood
- Providing nutrition advice
- Administering medications
- Assisting physicians and other clinical staff
- Updating patient records
- Undertaking administrative tasks
Once you’ve completed the Medical Assistant program at CCI, you will be fully prepared and eligible to sit the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). The Clinical Medical Assistant certification exam features 180 questions in total (30 pre-test questions and 150 scored questions), and you will have three hours to complete it.
